Osama El-Sallabi

Biography

Osama is a visiting PhD student from D'Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara in Italy. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that lead to ovarian aging. Specifically, the potential role of cellular senescence as a driver of ovarian aging and identifying senotherapeutic approaches to reduce the ovarian senescent cell burden.

Qiuming Wu

Biography

Qiuming's research interests lie in the fields of aging, cellular reprogramming, and rejuvenation. Specifically, his work is focused on identifying biomarkers involved in partial reprogramming and investigating their mechanisms in rejuvenation. He also has a strong interest in exploring epigenetic changes and miRNA that regulate cellular senescence and natural aging. In addition to sharing his perspectives on aging with friends, Qiuming enjoys engaging in various sports activities as well as listening to music and playing video games.

Louise Pitcher

Biography

Louise is interested in understanding epigenetic mechanisms of cellular rejuvenation, aging and cellular senescence. Her work focuses on identifying epigenetic modulating therapeutics using multi-OMIC strategies. She aims to characterize the heterogeneity of aged and senescent cell populations and to unravel epigenetic-, senotherapeutic-, and OSKM – mediated mechanisms of cellular rejuvenation to guide her drug discovery efforts.
