Biography
Yong’s research interests lie in the fields of aging biology and cellular mechanisms of rejuvenation. He is particularly interested in exploring how molecular pathways and cellular responses contribute to the aging process and potential anti-aging interventions. Outside of academics, Yong enjoys participating in various sports activities and photography.
Prisha Somashekara
Biography
Prisha Somashekara is an undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. She is currently involved in research at the Masonic Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism. Prior to this, she conducted a study researching how dietary supplements influence the removal of amyloid beta proteins in Drosophila melanogaster, a process relevant to the pathology of Alzheimer’s disease. In her free time, she enjoys singing, exploring the city, and watching movies.
Aidan Josephs

Aidan Josephs is currently an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Biochemistry. He is currently involved in student research at the Masonic Institute for the Biology of Metabolism and Aging. In his free time he enjoys working out, spending time with his friends, playing basketball, and snowboarding.

Anandsai Kothapalli is an undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. He is currently involved in student research pertaining to metabolism and aging. He enjoys working out, playing pickleball, watching movies, and hanging out with friends when having free time.

Emma Xu is an undergraduate student majoring in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development at the U. She is currently participating in research of metabolism and aging. She enjoys playing volleyball, squash and hanging out with her friends in the free time.
