Ashley Saathoff

Ashley’s research interests focus on revealing epigenetic modulators of cellular senescence for the “reversal” or prevention of age-associated chronic disease. Ashley’s research focuses on transcriptionally characterizing the effects of over-expressing the longevity-associated protein, SIRT6, in the Ercc1 -/D mouse model of accelerated aging. Her work also involves repurposing FDA-approved drugs as senotherapeutics.  In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, listening to music, and baking.
